Wind farm work packages out

Lacour Energy is promoting work packages for its $1 billion Clarke Creek wind farm project on the ICN gateway.

The company is partnering with Goldwind Australia to deliver the project, 150km north-west of Rockhampton.

It will comprise up to 195 wind turbines, 200MW to 400MW of solar power and battery energy storage.

A final investment decision is expected next year, with construction flagged to start mid-2019 and be completed by mid-2021.

Expressions of interest are being sought now for 17 work packages including  concrete supply, crane hire, formwork and steel fixing, geotechnical investigation, electrical works and more.
