Ex-RAN helicopters in latest government tenders

Tenders are sought for ex-Royal Australian Navy helicopters.

The RAN is currently withdrawing it’s fleet of AS350BA Squirrel and is offering 8 airframes and associated inventory for sale.

Nominations to attend the industry briefings on 23 May are to be submitted via email to [email protected] as specified in the Conditions of Tender.

Elsewhere in the Federal Government and with the Department of Infrastructure and Regional Development which is requesting tenders for the establishment of apanel for the provision of Infrastructure Advisory Services.

The panel will be used to provide the following advisory services including transport, planning and policy, economic and financial analysis, engineering and operations and infrastructure project services.

As a guide, the Department is seeking providers that have either project-related experience on at least five economic infrastructure projects with a total project cost of $250 million or more; or have policy experience in strategic infrastructure policy at a Commonwealth, State or Territory level.

Defence Housing Australia is inviting civl contractors to tender for Subdivisional work at Torhaven, Deebing Heights west of Brisbane.

Then there’s the Shoalwater Bay Training Area Redevelopment Project.

Specifically, ‘Registrations of Interest are invited from suitably qualified entities to undertake the role of Managing Contractor for certain works on the basis described in the Invitation to Register Interest. The Commonwealth intends to create a shortlist of Applicants from which it may invite tenders for the proposed works.
