Building, construction and maintenance tenders

First to Proserpine where the Department of Education and Training (DET) is calling for submissions for construction of a new covered awning between the existing Prep Centre Buildings `P’ and `Q’ located at the state school.

More detail here including where to get the tendering documentation. Tenders close on 17 August.

There are another five tenders for building services and supply closing the following Tuesday, 22 August.

Mackay Regional Council and Mackay Regional Botanic Gardens require a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to undertake the construction of Stage 1A within the Botanic Gardens Operations Compound. Click here if you’re interested.

The council is also seeking tenders for a Preferred Supplier Arrangement in the supply and delivery of plumbing fittings.

And going underground, Mackay Regional Council requires suitably experienced contractors to construct a new trunk water main from Shakespeare Street to Gordon Street around the existing Mackay Showgrounds land parcel.

This project involves both the construction of a new DN 450 DICL water main and the decommissioning the existing DN 450 cast iron water main. Click herefor more.

Still underground and there’s a current tender to reline the sewers in Mackay. The package comes with closed circuit TV requirements. Details are here.

A week later on 29 August, tenders close for the Pioneer River Flood Levee Repairs.
